A tale of short youth, fierce passions, fight in the name of freedom, betrayal caused by deceit and fear. The series presents stories of people for whom the war changed everything – it took away their families and sense of security, put their character and pride to the test many times, but it never deprived them of hope and their thirst for life. The series takes place in occupied Warsaw and follows the activities of Cichociemni paratroops (‘The Silent-Dark Ones’) and the first military actions of the underground, which lifted the oppressed capital city inhabitants’ spirits and encouraged them to fight with the invaders.
