"Mission: Afghanistan" is a moving story of of several soldiers from a single platoon, who, led by different motivations, decide to go to Afghanistan. The original script, dynamically constructed and with captivating plot, was created two of screenwriters: Jan Pawlicki and Marek Kreutz. At the stage of preparation the authors conducted a series of interviews with soldiers and their families. Some of the show's themes are inspired by their memories of the mission in Afghanistan.
The main character of "Mission: Afghanistan" is Paweł Konaszewicz (Paweł Małaszynski), lieutenant, who takes command of a platoon of mechanized infantry, from Wędrzyn's first company, leaving for Afghanistan.
